Last Harbor (2011 – present)

In April 2o11, Oxenfree launched the Last Harbor Project at 4924 E New York Street.

The mission of Last Harbor is to provide a set-apart space on the near east of Indianapolis for prayer, hospitality, transitional housing, and meaningful dialogue.

Last Harbor hosts a weekly Bible Study on Thursdays.

Counseling (2008 – present)

Oxenfree partners with a team of licensed professional counselors to provide safe, confidential counseling for young people who choose.

Housing (2008 – present)

Beginning in 2008, Oxenfree has worked to find appropriate housing for the youth in our lives who have found themselves without regular homes.  This may be in the form of allowing them to sleep on our couch for a couple nights, partnering with willing host families, or subsidizing their rent.

Community Meals (2008 – 2010)

Community Meals started in the fall of 2008.   Their purpose was to bring people together by sitting down as a family and having a meal together.  All of us need a place where we can come to be accepted and loved.  Community Meals hosted at the Pirad House on Tuesday Nights purposed to create that place, if just for one night.

Oxenfree no longer officially sponsors community meals. They have grown into neighborhood potlucks hosted at four different houses each Tuesday night.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us, if you follow my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/stephen.zumbrun. I make a Facebook event for the meals at the beginning of every month .
