Community Meals started in the fall of 2008. Their purpose was to bring people together by sitting down as a family and having a meal together. All of us need a place where we can come to be accepted and loved. Community Meals hosted at the Pirad House on Tuesday Nights purposed to create that place, if just for one night.

Oxenfree no longer officially sponsors community meals. They have grown into neighborhood potlucks hosted at four different houses each Tuesday night. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us, if you follow my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/stephen.zumbrun. I make a Facebook event for the meals at the beginning of every month .
